Honey, I Think That’s a Misunderstanding

Grace O’Ellin is engaged to Lucas Blacke, the most handsome and intimidating man in the entire country. Every time she sees him, she blushes uncontrollably, her hands tremble, and sometimes she is so overwhelmed by fear that she hides or even faints. During one such incident, she accidentally murmurs Lucas’s name while unconscious.

Unfortunately, Lucas completely misinterprets her behavior.

Convinced that Grace is hopelessly in love with him, he believes her shy reactions are simply the signs of an adorable fiancée too embarrassed to express her feelings. To him, every blush and every flustered glance only makes her seem even cuter.

Determined to escape this terrifying engagement, Grace eventually gathers the courage to suggest breaking off their relationship. But Lucas is utterly bewildered.

Unable to understand her request, he sincerely asks how someone who supposedly loves him so much could possibly want to end their engagement.

The truth, however, is far simpler. Grace is not blushing because she is in love. She is terrified of him.
