After brutally eliminating the evil spirits responsible for his parents’ deaths, a young boy named Lee-se is branded a monster by the very people around him. With nothing left to live for, he eventually crosses paths with Mong-ryeon, a goblin and renowned spirit hunter.
Through their encounter, Lee-se finds a new purpose: to wipe every ghost from existence.
As the two begin living together, Mong-ryeon soon notices something unusual about Lee-se—an extraordinary trait hidden within the boy. Believing his potential could be cultivated, Mong-ryeon sends him to Daemudo, a cultivation sect feared throughout the cultivation world as a force of execution.
