Oh Kangwoo, the Demon King, has grown weary of ruling Hell and longs to return to Earth. However, upon finally arriving, he discovers that his powers have been sealed away and the world he once knew has transformed into a massive MMORPG-like battlefield. Dimensional gates now appear across the globe, allowing “players” to enter and hunt monsters in order to earn a living.

To survive in this chaotic new reality, Kangwoo is forced to start from scratch and rapidly grow stronger. Yet adapting to this system proves to be a challenge unlike anything he faced in Hell. For the Demon King, Earth may turn out to be far more unforgiving than the underworld he left behind.
